Our commitment
We aim to meet the spirit of the international standard WCAG 2.1 AA, and to keep the school usable on low-cost phones and slow connections โ because those are exactly the learners we exist for.
What we do today
- Keyboard & focus: every link and button shows a clear focus outline and can be reached with the keyboard.
- Readable text & contrast: a tested colour palette, generous line spacing, and text that scales with your browser's font-size setting.
- Reduced motion: if your device asks for less motion, we turn off animations.
- Voice support: lessons are read aloud, and the tutor guides you to the next step by voice.
- Works offline & light: the web app runs once loaded even on a weak connection; the Android app stores lessons offline.
- Plain language: we write instructions simply, for the lowest-confidence reader.
What we're still improving
- Full screen-reader testing across every screen.
- Larger touch targets and a dyslexia-friendly font option.
- Captions/transcripts for all audio.
